What we collect, and how to have it removed.

This page covers what we collect, why we collect it, and how to have it removed. It is written to be read rather than to be defensible.

The practice benchmark

The practice benchmark calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your figures are computed on your own device, and nothing is sent to us while you fill in the form or read your headline numbers.

We receive your submission only when you ask for the full report and tick the consent box. At that point we store:

• the operating figures you entered
• your email address, your role, and your practice size
• which consents you gave, and when

We never publish anything identifiable to your practice. Your figures are used to build anonymized industry benchmarks. Nothing that could identify you or your practice appears in any published benchmark, report, or article.

We do not ask for, and the form cannot accept, any information about patients. Every field is a number or a choice from a list. There is no free-text box other than your email address, and a server-side check rejects any submission that looks like it contains patient information.

How to have your submission deleted

Two ways, and both work at any time without giving a reason.

By email. Write to admin@margapartners.com with your report token, or with the email address you used. We delete it and confirm within five working days.

Directly. If you kept the report token shown with your results, you can delete the submission yourself:

Deletion removes the figures, your email, and the report. A record that a token existed and was deleted remains, carrying no practice data, so that a second deletion request can be answered honestly.

The Marga Exchange opt-in

The Exchange opt-in on the benchmark form is a separate checkbox with its own consent. It is never bundled with permission to store your submission, it is off unless you turn it on, and declining it does not affect your report.

The consultation form

The consultation form on this site sends your name, email, and message to us so we can reply. We keep it as a record of the enquiry. It is not used for anything else and is deleted on request through the same address.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with manufacturers.
• We do not use cookies to hold your benchmark answers. Save and resume works through the address bar, so closing the tab discards it.
• We do not log your submitted figures. Our server logs record that a submission happened and nothing about what was in it.
